Identity Verification For security, we must verify that the request is genuine. This may require: Replying from your registered email address Verifying a one-time code Providing basic information (e.g., last login date or phone number) This is done to prevent unauthorized or fraudulent deletion requests. 3. What Data Will Be Deleted Once verification is completed, Workdex will delete: Your user account & profile Personal identification data (name, email, phone number) Uploaded documents, files, or images Saved preferences, settings, and activity logs Any data stored in our production systems that can be legally erased This process ensures your data is removed from active systems and user-facing interfaces. 4. What Data May Be Retained Temporarily Certain data may be retained for a limited period if required by: Indian data compliance laws Fraud prevention Financial or legal record-keeping requirements Backup systems ❗ Important Backups are automatically purged after their standard retention cycle (usually 30–90 days). These backups cannot be altered manually but will expire automatically. No retained data will be used for any commercial purpose after your deletion request. 5.
